We are NOT a recruiting company. Career Park is a community comprised of a consortium of Technology Professionals. With Career Park’s unique member structure, management tools and marketing technology, professionals have the freedom to be in business for themselves but not by themselves. Simply put, Career Park offers a low cost employment model. Normally, IT contractors work directly for the staffing company as a W2 employee who is paid and billed hourly. When a IT contractor works as a W2 employee their cost of employment encompasses all hard costs. This includes everything from office space to executive salaries.  When Career Park Members offer their services to staffing companies and direct clients as a sub-contractor the hard costs associated with incremental employment drops significantly. By offering your services as a sub-contractor (and not as a W2 employee) you can command rates that are on average 27% higher. See example

As a member of Career Park, you can offer your services to any Client (Big or Small), multiple clients or Staffing Companies who offer you contract opportunities. Career Park helps you with all the paperwork, invoice, insurance and compliance matters. 

Our Base-Camp membership includes access to W2 Benefits ( Health, Vision, Dental, 401k, etc.), Contract Setup Services, Legal Agreements, Corporate Liability Insurance (required by every end client), Time Keeping, and access to other CareerPark Community Services (Education Services, Advisor & Professional Development Services, Community Q&A, and Research)

Members have access to our Group benefits plans. This includes, Health, Dental, Vision, Flex Spending. As a member and a W2 employee you can fund your health benefits with pre-tax earnings.

Every dollar a member earns goes into their own Career Park member business unit (aka. Member Practice). Members have total control over this account. Most members will elect to submit expenses against the gross revenue in this account for pre-tax reimbursement. Members also decide how much of their gross revenue they can designate as W2 earnings. By managing this, in adherence of current tax codes, you can maximize the money you keep at the end of the year.

Our various member levels provide access to exclusive opportunities directly with clients already engaged with Career Park, member only referral network and our professional branding engine. Career Park has modernized and automated the highly nuanced ways the best contract jobs are landed.

All membership dues are paid from the revenue generated by members billings. Our dues are assessed from member accounts on a monthly basis from the revenue they receive from billable hours invoiced. For more info visit our Membership Detail Page.
